Celebrate Earth Day
Join us at Slayter Creek Park on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our Earth Day celebration! The event features live animal demonstrations, educational booths, crafts, and a tie-dye station (while supplies last). You can also recycle and reduce by donating gently used clothing and unopened food to local non-profits. Dispose of paint, batteries, chemicals, and more safely at our HHW drop-off during Earth Day at Slayter Creek Park. Proof of residency is required. Full list of accepted items.
Dispose of drugs at the Drug Take-back
Join the Anna Police Department for the DEA Nationwide Drug Take-Back on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Anna Municipal Complex (120 W. 7th St.).
This free and anonymous event offers a safe, convenient way to dispose of expired, unused, or unwanted prescription medications—no questions asked. You do not have to be an Anna resident to participate.
Let’s work together to keep medications out of the wrong hands and protect our environment.
